Branding irons with handles are the simplest branders. The plate is mounted to the handle and is heated with an external heat source, e.g. soldering torch or propane burner.
Manual units are ideal for low volume marking requirements. The branding plates can be upgraded to a gas powered or electrical source of heat at any time.
