This temperature controller is able to adjust the temperature of the branding iron (max. 1000 Watt). The adjustment of the temperature is carried out indirectly via modulation of the operating voltage of the heater. The use of the controller is recommended especially for marking of plastics, felt, thick cardboard, food and leather, as the temperature must be lower here than when burning wood. The marking temperature must be determined depending on the type of leather or plastic by tests. For burning wood, a controller is not mandatory, but reduced by a down-regulation of voltage the risk of overheating and burning out of heating elements.
